Turkish tanneries & Formaldehyde
Free & Releasable Formaldehyde a global issue also relevant for our customers in Turkey. The larger tanneries producing for the export customers are increasingly confronted with questions about this topic.
Therefore, GOS Kimya, Dermokim and Smit organized a seminar, in Tuzla, about Free & Releasable Formaldehyde and the impact for the Turkish tanneries. A group of about 30 people joined this meeting and was updated by the latest developments in this field including the pitfalls which can happen in discussions with the final leather customer.
During the seminar many questions have been answered and the tanneries where able to see and feel the leathers made Smit with the new SAFETAN developments.
